Our Story
Sacred Knot designs each tattoo uniquely for the individual and their interests. Our art is rooted in the ancient and universal tradition of human expression, brought to life on the skin through critical research and an intentional relationship with historic art and the wearer.
Our studio was founded in 2016 by Sean Parry in Llandudno.
North Wales has a deep historical significance for ancient Europe, and is easily accessible to travellers from across the world.
Llandudno has been settled by Vikings, fortified by Iron Age Celts, and was home to Bronze Age and Neolithic artisans. Our mountain peninsula is saturated in stories of the past.
Many people that visit us say that exploring our town and surrounding nature/historical sites is as special as the tattoo experience itself.
We feel privileged to welcome all of you to our home in Llandudno and to share our love for historical art.

15+ Tattoo Artists from across the world visit Sacred Knot each year.
SUMMER & FALL 2026
ASH HARRISON | VILLKAT ARTS
Ash has over 15 years of experience as a tattoo artist of Celtic & Nordic freehand design. He’s known for incorporating woodwork and metal textures into his tattoos, and clients travel from abroad for his landscapes and geometric designs.
HAMISH LAMLEY | PICTAVIA TATTOO
Hamish’s tattoos embody his deep knowledge of Pictish and Early Medieval art, as well as (yes we’re serious) Warhammer 40K! He’s known for his leatherwork and has been featured on BBC and Sky as a historical specialist.
UFFE BERENTH | GINNUNGAGAP ART
Since the start of his tattoo career in 2010, Uffe has been called one of the best Nordic tattooists in Europe. His deep academic and spiritually knowledge of runes, folklore, and history allow for bespoke tattoos to come to life (freehand designed) on the skin, specific to the wearer’s personal and spiritual needs. Based out of Denmark, many of Uffe’s UK clients have requested a guest spot by Uffe so they don’t need to travel so far for their ink. You’ve asked and we’ve delivered!
Fill out our contact form and request Uffe as your artist.
Uffe’s next visit will be in May 2026
