Thomos’ Welsh Mythology Sleeve

A section of the Mabinogion (Welsh mythology) sleeve on Thomos. The warrior king you see here wading through the sea surrounded by his army in their ships is none other than the great Bendigeidfran, the great Welsh giant. Known in English as Brân y blessed, he features heavily in the second branch of the Mabinogion. In this part of the story he wades over the sea to rescue his sister from the Irish king Matholwch.

Looking forward to working on this some more soon and tattooing the amazing tales of my homeland.
